What is the difference between the different rooms on offer?
Given our use of shophouses, many of the rooms are unique and different from each other and range from king-sized to single beds across our room categories. For more information regarding the different room types, please refer to the ‘stay’ pages on our individual websites to see photos and information for each specific type.

How many people does each room sleep?
Most of our hotel rooms are equipped with either queen-size or king-sized beds, this would comfortably fit a couple. A family of 3 (with young child/toddler <11 years old) would also be allowed, although with older children you would need 2 separate rooms.
For Base Residences, our service apartments - the 2 bedroom residences (4 adults) &
1 bedroom residences (2 adults).
Can I request for an extra bed in the room for an extra person and at what cost?
We only offer additional beds at Ann Siang House kindly contact our reservations team for more information.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
No. All the rooms at our hotels and serviced apartments are completely non-smoking. If you light up or vape inside the rooms a S$250 cleaning fee will be charged.
Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
Bathtubs are only available in our Executive rooms & Suites at Ann Siang House (ASH)
Do you offer 24-hour room service?
We do not have room service, however there is a takeaway option from all our in-house partner restaurants. There are also many delivery options through the food apps Deliveroo, Grab & Foodpanda that deliver straight to your room.
Is there any reservation fees/Is the amount stated on the website the final amount (what about taxes)?
The amount that is stated on the website booking engine during payment, is the total amount that will be charged. All taxes are already included in the price displayed.
Hotels in Singapore are subject to the following tax:

What if I want to extend my stay? How much will it cost?
Extension of stay will be subject to room availability. Room prices vary across different periods. Kindly check with our friendly community hosts about extension possibilities.
What are the benefits of booking direct?
By booking direct you have access to our best room rates and special “book direct” perks such as discounts at our F&B and retail partners that you can enjoy as well.
Is there breakfast included in the price?
Breakfast is only included for all stays at Ann Siang House, at the GF restaurant, The Coconut Club.
How do I use my discount vouchers?For online discount vouchers, kindly key in the promotion code at the point of checkout when booking the rooms on our websites. For physical discount vouchers, do let us know when making the reservation by calling us to inform us in advance. At the point of check-in, kindly show the physical copy of the discount voucher to our friendly community hosts to get it verified.
How do I find the latest promotions on offer?

The promotions available will appear when you are selecting a room at check-out process. The ones that you are eligible for will be displayed for you to compare and decide.
Do I get a special discount for bulk purchase of rooms or a long-term stay? For bulk purchases and/or long-term stays will be directly managed by our in-house reservation teams.

Why do you need my credit card details?
Your credit card details are only required as a guarantee for the hotel in case you don't arrive or cancel too late. This could lead to extra charges according to our cancellation policies which will be clearly stated at the point of checkout. We will never charge your credit card for anything extra.
Does the hotel need a payment in advance or security deposit?
Only for promotions and special rates there is an advance payment required at point of check-out online. At the point of check-in, a $50/- deposit will be collected, and will be refunded if there are no damages to the room at the point of check-out.
How are my credit card details kept safe and secure?
As with most online e-commerce platforms in Singapore, we make use of Stripe, which is a secure online payment system which protects every individuals’ credit card details.
How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?
An email confirmation will be sent to the guest’s email which was keyed in at the point of payment. If you do not receive a confirmation within the next 24 hours, do contact the property directly.
What are the different ways for me to book a room at one of the hotels or service apartments under 8M Collective?
We are currently listed on different third-party travel websites such as Expedia, Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda. However, we do recommend you ‘book direct’ with us to enjoy our best rates, special promotions and perks we have especially for you!
What is the check-in/check-out times at your properties?
Check-in time for all our properties is 3pm, and check out will be 12pm.
Is the reception open 24 hours?
Our reception is open 24 hours for all our hotels. However, as Base Residences is a serviced apartment and is locked by an electronic lock, there is no reception. However, if there are any issues, you can contact +65 9655 5823.
Can I do early check-in?
Early check-in will depend on the availability of rooms. Kindly call our community hosts in advance to check. You will be able to leave your luggage at our properties in the situation an early check-in is not possible
Is there additional charges for late check-in?
There will be no charges for late check-in. However, a late check-out fee will be levied, unless prior request to extend check-out was approved in advance. The amount will vary, but is likely to be an extra night charge based on the Best Available Rate. For more information please contact our reservations team.
How do I get to the property from the Airport? Is there a shuttle service available?
We do not offer shuttle services to our properties. However our properties are all within <30 mins from Changi Airport, & is easily accessible by taxis which are regulated and readily available, as well as through ride hailing applications ie Grab and Go-Jek.
How do I get there by public transport? What are the nearest MRT stations near the accommodations?
KēSa House: the nearest MRT will be Chinatown MRT Interchange, which lies on the North-East Line as well as the Downtown Line. It is also near to Outram Park MRT Station which lies on the East-West Line. You can take the East-West Line from Changi Airport Station, and transit at Tanah Merah MRT Station, before taking a straight line to Outram Park MRT Station. It is only a 5-minute walk from the station.
Wanderlust: the nearest MRT Station is Jalan Besar MRT Station on the Downtown Line. You can take the East-West Line from Changi Airport Station, and transit at Tanah Merah MRT Station, before taking a straight line to Bugis MRT Interchange. From there, change to the Downtown Line to Jalan Besar MRT Station. It is only a 3-minute walk from the station.
Ann Siang House: the nearest MRT will be Chinatown MRT Interchange, which lies on the North-East Line as well as the Downtown Line. You can take the East-West Line from Changi Airport Station, and transit at Tanah Merah MRT Station, before taking a straight line to Bugis MRT Interchange. From there, change to the Downtown Line to Chinatown MRT Station. It is only a 8-minute walk from the station.
Base Residences: the closest MRT is Clarke Quay Station, which lies on the North East Line. You can take the East-West Line from Changi Airport Station, and transit at Tanah Merah MRT Station, before taking a straight line to Outram Park MRT Station. From there, change to the North-East Line to Clarke Quay MRT Station. It is only a 5-minute walk from the station.
How do I get to the popular attractions?
Given the ease and convenience of getting to the MRT stations, our guests will be able to see what Singapore has to offer through the use of our efficient public transport services. Google Maps is a good alternative to help one find the fastest way to our attractions, and if required, our community hosts are always at hand to show you the best places to go and the quickest way to reach there.
What are the nearest shopping malls available near the area? How do I get there?
Do check with our community hosts regarding the nearest shopping malls and attractions in the area.
Is there parking available at your properties?
We do not offer free parking at any of our properties. However, there are roadside public parking available outside all our locations. You can use the Parking.sg App to help you pay for the parking.
How do I find out what facilities each property has? (Eg: Lift, Laundry Room)
Kindly drop by our individual properties’ website where we show all the facilities, social spaces & amenities provided for all our guests. Our community hosts are also readily available should you require more information.
Do we offer a laundry service?
We do not offer any laundry or dry cleaning services, however all our hotels do have a self-serve launderette that the guests are free to use.
Can I leave my luggage at the property?
Yes you may! Do approach our community hosts to let them know.
Is there WIFI internet connection in the property?
Complimentary, high-speed WIFI is available throughout all our properties.
How many restaurant and bars do you have and what are they?
We have several partner restaurants and bars within and near our hotels and service apartments. Do visit the ‘dine’ or 'perks' pages on their websites below or speak to one our community hosts for further details.
Is there vegetarian cuisine available?
There are vegetarian options available at our partner restaurants. Do check out their menu on their website, or ask our friendly community hosts for more information.
Is there an additional cost to cancel/change my reservation?
All charges and costs will follow that of the cancellation policy at the date of booking the accommodation.
How do I know that my cancellation is confirmed?
Email confirmation regarding the cancellation will be sent.
What is the minimum age required for checking in?
Minimum booking age is 18 years old with valid official identification (ie Passport or NRIC). Under 18’s should be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No refunds will apply for breach of age condition.
What voltage is used in Singapore?
The standard voltage in Singapore is 220V/240V, 50 H. Singapore uses the British three-pronged square pin type socket.
Is tap water safe to drink?
According to the Public Utilities Board (PUB) Singapore, it is safe to drink tap water in Singapore, given its’s regulation with the Environmental Public Health (EPH) (Water Suitable for Drinking) (No.2) Regulations 2019. The drinking water standards set out under the EPH Regulations were based on the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality.
We have also installed the Nordaq system at all our hotels, that enables high quality filtered water to be produced on site with re-usable water bottles allowing us to phase out plastic water bottles (visit our sustainability page for more info on our eco-friendly practices and initiatives)
What is the general weather in Singapore?
Singapore is situated near the equator and has a typically tropical climate, with abundant rainfall, high and uniform temperatures, and high humidity all year round. Rainfall usually occurs more from November to January. The daily temperature ranges from 25 ºC to 33 ºC. it is usually hotter in the period from May to June and cooler towards the end of the year.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on the premises.
